Prom is an important event in high school. A prom must be girls’ favorite, because they can wear beautiful dresses to show off their attire and draw atttion from the crownds.if you want to be special and eyecatching, a mermaid prom dress will absolutely work as long as you are able to put it on. a mermaid dress is a style that is very picky of body type. this dress displays every curve of a person’s body. It is fairly fitting,hugging the body from the chest all the way down to the knees or mid calf area. then at the bottom the dress flares out just like the mermaid tail. if you are not confidant enough, you are not suggested to try a mermaid dress, because the dress will emphasize the areas you may want to minimize.
A mermaid dress can be altered for different effects. The dress can flare out above the knees, at the knees or below the knees. If you want to show off your legs, you can alter to above knee. if you want to look exactly like a real mermaid, then you’d better not alter it and keep it below the knees.
When wearing a mermaid dress, it will make it difficult to move. So you should be careful while walking or dancing at the prom. if not, you will probabally lose balance and fall down as the mermaid dress hugs your whole body so tightly that it seems as if you were wrapped with ribbon.
In order to be safe, put on low heeled shoes.
